Murrabit Football Netball Club

Round 13 we celebrated our premierships across many decades. 2015, 2005, 1995, 1975 and 1965 all reaping the ultimate for our football grades. As a club we welcomed back many past players and well as thanking our sponsors with the sponsors day.

Our U12’s were first onto the turf with a couple of fresh faces, great to have Ruby and Mason play their first game. The improvement of the group has been substantial cross the year and with only two weeks to go, if you haven’t watched a game, get up early and get there!

Our U15’s were missing a couple of key players, this just enabled others to step up and play their role. Although our prime movers in Parker Bray, Coopers and Xav Hein were our best, we also had Hudson Hein, Zane McKerrow and Jed McDonald show their value

The U18’s were gallant in defeat, with the score not truly showing how competitive our guys were.

The Reserves started well and had an early lead and then Wandella fought back to take the win. Toby Gray was a great target up forward and at the other end Matt Penny was fantastic.

Our Senior boys ran out in effectively an elimination final, with the winner cementing their position in the top 4. Our lads came out and slammed home 4 goals to 1 to take the ascendency in the first quarter and keeping the game in their grasp for the remainder of the day. Jack Shannahan lead from the front finishing with 3 goals and 32 disposals.
