Cohuna Kangas – Round 3 

It was a fantastic road trip up to Swan Hill for our first away game of the season, with plenty to celebrate across the board!

Over the coursr of the day, we came away with wins in nearly every grade, with only the Under 15 and Under 13 Netballers, and the Under 15s and Under 12s Footballers just falling short.

Playing on ANZAC weekend always brings extra meaning, and our players did themselves and the club proud, showing great spirit throughout.

Football Highlights:

Reserves produced a demolition job, with multiple players kicking bags! A light-hearted shoutout to Clayton Anderson who finished with 2.10 – and somehow missed from the goal line – must’ve been windier than we thought..

Seniors took on a gallant Tyntynder early before breaking away for a strong win. Standouts included Ricky "Slick" Monti, who dazzled with his evasive skills, and Tom Toma, who was everywhere and finished with 3 majors. Tom also added another BOG medal to his collection!

Special mentions to Sam McGlone, who celebrated his 100th senior game in style, and Noah Hore, who enjoyed a first-up senior win after being presented his jumper by club legend Neil "Bricky" Bradley.

Netball Highlights:

A Grade joined the winners list with an 11-point win, with Carla Walker electrifying around the goals and earning the ANZAC BOG Medal for her performance.

Great wins also to our A Reserve, B Grade, B Reserve, and U17’s Netball teams, continuing to build strong momentum.

Off the Field: Massive thanks to all our supporters who made the trip – the vibe around the courts/grounds was outstanding all day!

This Week: A huge week ahead on the track as we turn our attention to a big clash against Nyah at home. Looking forward to a packed house and making it another memorable Saturday!
